It can`t get easier than this! Few people know that when honey is mixed with cinnamon it creates a powerful combination with healing properties which speeds up the metabolism, ultimately leading to weight loss. For starters let’s get to know this ingredients a little bit better:
Honey contains a much healthier glycemic index (GI), therefore our body gradually and progressively absorbs it without any danger of sugar rush. Honey also helps in boosting the metabolism thus encouraging the process of fat burning.
Cinnamon on the other hand stabilizes our blood sugar levels and increases the glucose metabolism. In other words cinnamon prevents fat storage caused by high sugar levels. It also improves insulin function that results in weight lose.
Together these ingredients can clean parasites, bacteria and fungus along the digestive tract, giving you a feeling of fullness and satiety.
Now let`s show you how to make this extraordinary drink:
- 2 spoons of honey
- 1 spoon of cinnamon and
- 250 ml of water
(This amount can be changed but always use a ratio of 2:1 meaning two measures of honey and one of cinnamon).
Like we said you can prepare as much as you like but always with the appropriate ratio 2:1.
First, you`ll need to boil the water (in our case 250ml) put the cinnamon in a glass and pour it over. Let the mixture cool down. Afterwards just add the honey and mix it up a little.
Note: You should never add honey in boiling water.
This drink acts on an empty stomach only, so drink half of it before bedtime and the second half before breakfast.
