If you suffer from regularly headaches these FOUR HEALTHY HABITS might be the cure to your headache condition:
1. Dehydration Headache
We all know that the body needs water. So if you drink coffee all day, or maybe use alcohol regularly you should be drinking at least 64 or more ounces of water per day, depending of your weight.
Word of Advice: Getting dehydrated doesn’t mean felling thirsty, but you can still suffer from Dehydration headache, so drink water on regular basis.
2. Aren’t Eating Regular Meals
This habit is very, very important, because your blood sugar levels often drop. So if you notice signs of headache eat a small or a regular size meal.
Word of Advice: Here are some foods that “fight” headaches: bananas, watermelon, cherries, spinach, spicy salsa, salmon, corn, flax seed.
3. Not sleeping 8 hours per night
Our body and mind need a minimum of 8 hours sleep per night. Sleeping less means low energy level and the result is filling tired all day long. The link between headaches and sleep has been known for decades, so experience says that people who underwent behavioral therapy such as instituting a consistent sleep eliminating TV, internet, mobile phones in bed, had less intense headache.
Word of Advice: A good night’s sleep keeps us healthy and happy.
Neurologists found that sexual activity can lead to “partial or complete relief” of headaches. They suggested that lovemaking will stimulate the release of endorphins, the body’s natural painkillers, through the central nervous system, which can even eliminate a headache.
Word of Advice: Making love can be more effective than taking painkillers 🙂
